I just watch dvds of films and shows I know and enjoy. Can anyone recommend any shows that come at least close to x files? Thanks ahead of time. That way I can look on amazon for them and maybe add to my collection.  |

The Fringe Division is supposedly a branch of the FBI but they kind of act independently. Fringe is more science fiction IMO, a great series no doubt. They might of attempted too much between alternate realities and time travel but overall it was a riveting series. X-Files is kind of unique in the material they dealt with honestly I can't think of another series that I've seen that was similar. . |

They're not meant to be "deep" ... they're just fun. I enjoyed Jericho too, as well as Firefly and Merlin. I think all of these are currently on Netflix. They're not exactly the same genre as X-Files, but you may like them. |
