Also, be sure that you have cleared your personal possessions out of the car or you may never see them again.

A little later you will receive a bill from your bank saying how much you still owe after what your car brought at auction.

See how much you can sell your car for. Try to pay off the loan. Otherwise you will have a mini-nightmare lasting for years. A little pain now, or a lot of pain later...

I've never sold a car before so don't know how to go about it. Guess thats why I was thinking it would just be easier to let them take it.

shit...my story is I make real good money and used to lease cars from American Medi Lease. OK...I was sick of driving the beemer and called the guy to bring me another car. He sent me another car and picked up my old one. 6 fucking months later I'm paying on another car the bank sends me a letter saying they confiscated all the cars held by the leasing company and I owed the difference between what they auctioned the car for and the payoff. I told them "fuck you". I traded the car in and the issue was between them and the leasing company. That shit followed me around for years, but I WASN'T GONNA PAY IT

if you are broke you may need the car. you may end up having to live in it. i sure hope things pick up for you, its a hard world we live in.
