Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living. ~ Life is about choices, you get to make them each and every day of your life. ~ Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.~ Only in America... do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poloi' in Greek meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.~ “When a government is dependent for money upon the bankers, they and not the government leaders control the nation. This is because the hand that gives is above the hand that takes. Financiers are without patriotism and without decency.” If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain. Winston Churchill |

In Seattle, well the whole Pacific Northwest, we've had such a mild winter. The ski slopes haven't even really been open. In the Seattle area, we only had 2 good wind storms. That's odd enough. Anyways, while most of America seems to been freezing... Spring is springing in Seattle. Wouldn't Satan be happy you broke God's laws and give you a reward for being evil too? I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. Will Munny User ID: 37687751 United States 02/24/2015 09:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well for Idaho you could say that pretty much 12 months out of the year, but here in SW Idaho we've had an unbelievable February temps in close to 60 at times. Hell even some of the trees are budding and some grasses growing, this is very uncommon but welcomed after the freezing cold November and December we had. Our mountains on the other hand is where we like the snow and there are some places that don't ever melt. I've been in a certain hot spring on the fourth of July with snow falling, now that is awesome. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 37257055 United Kingdom 02/24/2015 09:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Easy because the warming is shifting the weather patterns. heres a link [link to www.skepticalscience.com] [One thing we do know is that the polar jet stream – a fast river of wind up where jets fly that circumnavigates the northern hemisphere – has been doing some odd things in recent years. Rather than circling in a relatively straight path, the jet stream has meandered more in north-south waves. In the west, it’s been bulging northward, arguably since December 2013 – a pattern dubbed the “Ridiculously Resilient Ridge” by meteorologists. In the east, we’ve seen its southern-dipping counterpart, which I call the “Terribly Tenacious Trough.” (See picture, below.) These long-lived shifts from the polar jet stream’s typical pattern have been responsible for some wicked weather this winter, with cold Arctic winds blasting everywhere from the Windy City to the Big Apple for weeks at a time. We know that climate change is increasing the odds of extreme weather such as heatwaves, droughts and unusually heavy precipitation events, but is it making these sticky jet-stream patterns more likely, too? Maybe.] |

Quoting: Goofy for God Florida has no snow on the ground according to all of the maps, of that we can be sure. But the three maps I looked at don't agree on the other snow-free state: It could be South Carolina, it could be Louisiana or possibly Mississippi. Anybody in those three states see snow? Anonymous Coward User ID: 18759497 United States 02/25/2015 12:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The weird thing is that here in WA state, there has been so very, very little snow. The mountains passes/ski resorts have barely had enough snow for any skiing at all. There has been a little, but it has been extremely short. Where I live, we didn't get any snow at all. So, you might say the PNW has suffered from no snow---even though we do show a little up in the passes. |
