If you lived in the U.S. you would see why he's so unpopular. He's lied about a lot of things. We're talking bald faced lies like being able to keep your health insurance. Instead of bringing both parties together in the spirit of "bipartisanship" to get "America's work done" like he promised, he treats domestic policy like a pick up basketball game and talks trash about Republicans, sometimes getting personal, burning all his bridges with the Congress. He doesn't even make the effort to negotiate with them. Republicans in December offered to tackle immigration with him now that they control both houses of the Congress and instead he told them to go pound sand and inacted this wild "executive order" scheme, shafting the very people he claims he wants to help in the process because its such a hair brained scheme it will take the courts years to pass judgement on it before it can be instituted (the President cannot make up his own laws). He's too arrogant to lower himself to negotiate with the Congress so he likes to pretend Republicans are just crazy idiots that can't be trusted so he will just sign his own executive orders and go play golf. He hasn't accomplished anything that requires real leadership here in the U.S. He's to good to work others. He has not relationships with anyone in the Congress. It's pitiful. He didn't have a single meeting on the "Obamacare" rollout team, so it was not surprising what a disaster it was. He single handedly saved the Iranian "Revolution" from imploding by loosening the sanctions and will soon sign an agreement with them that makes them a new regional super power overnight, trashing decades of national security policy in the process and creating a nuclear proliferation nightmare for the world. We will cease to have any influence in that region because of the way he has trashed our alliances.
