Then He prayed over the small amount of food they had. miracles do not occur without us doing our part - in this case, by dividing the multitude into groups as Christ directed. Miracles require us to be active in faith. When a crippled man was given the power to walk, Christ told him to take up his pallet and go. in other words, no more lying around, pick up your bed and walk. the greatest miracle is the acceptance of God's love by any person.
