The close relationship between the Boulder District Attorney and the law firm hired by the Ramsey's, eventually forced the Boulder police to withhold evidence from the D.A.'s office. Shortly afterwards, the police computers were hacked into.

One thing that always disturbed me and seemed like a poorly done prop, was the "kidnap" letter.

You know, I wonder if Patsy knew or guessed about the sex ring abuse thing and could have killed her daughter to 'save her' from it. And she did give her that ID bracelet with her name and the Christmas date on it - the murder date - BEFORE XMAS.

SBTC mentioned twice in the ransom note. Saved by the Cross. And Patsy was recently born again with her cancer.

Her husband might have started molesting their daughter when Patsy was away for her cancer treatments out east.

Another theory I have along those lines is that Patsy was creeping around with Burke's maglite, like the other poster suggested, but a cat and mouse about trying to catch her husband molesting their daughter so she would have proof of her suspicions. She could have found him in her daughter's bed, took a swing at John with the flashlight, John moved away at the last second, and Patsy accidentally crushed her daughter's skull when she meant to hit her jackass husband. Even though she might have been the kind to never tell on her husband, I think her taking Jonbenet to the pediatrician all those times was her wanting to know. This scenario goes especially well with her 'we didn't mean for this to happen' statement.

So she covered for her husband in the end. In either of these angry scenarios, the ransom note sounds just like a pissed off wife.

"Mr. Ramsey: Listen Carefully! We are a group of individuals that represent a small foreign faction. We respect your business, but not the country it serves.

At this time, we have your daughter in our possession. She is safe and unharmed and if you want her to see 1997, you must follow our instructions to the letter.

You will withdraw $118,000 from your account. $100,000 will be in $100 bills and the remaining $18,000 in $20 bills. Make sure that you bring an adequate size attachŽ to the bank.

When you get home, you will put the money in a brown paper bag. I will call you between 8 and 10 a.m. tomorrow to instruct you on delivery. The delivery will be exhausting so I advise you to be rested. To me, that ransom note sounds like it was written by a woman.

Sometimes mentally disturbed ones DO. Look at Andrea Yates, she drowned her sons to save them from demons or something, to preserve their innocence. There have been plenty of other Christians in the news over the years who have killed their children to 'save them' from this sinful world. It's not pretty, but sometimes it does happen.

I am just trying to keep being full of nuances, i really believe a widespread satanistic network abusing kids doenst exist.
I believe, confused or mentally ill individuals are abusing children. It might sound less sensational then some kind of satanastic orders, but its more close to reality, and in the end its probably more sad and cold also.

Ok, what if Patsy Ramsey knew that something was going to happen to her daughter that night. She may or may not have known that the child was to be murdered.

She doesn't know at the time she leaves the note on the counter, that the child will be returned to the house that night and is lying dead in her basement.

When JonBenet was found, she knows she was set up but she can't divulge what really happened and who was involved.

This is debatable. I believe it was a Dr. Spitz, or was it Dr. Spitzer, who showed how that kind of a concussion can and often does happen and have little to no bleeding. If I recall correctly, he did a reconstruction with the same kind of maglite that Burke had. (which also gives more reason for the baseball bat outside being fingered as a possible weapon for the head blow - more deliberate obfuscation of the crime scene).

I tend to believe this theory because her hair was rearranged to HIDE the skull fracture. Which means don't look at this. Look at the garrotte instead. An obvious misdirection. Which means the garrotte was the red herring.

Even lead detective on the case Steve Thomas, who wrote a book about it implicating Patsy in the bedwetting rage scenario, thought that the skull fracture was first, that Jonbenet was slammed against a fixture of some sort in the bathroom in a fit of anger by Patsy.

The illuminist handler uses a series of complicated rituals that very rarely involve "red capes" and "ritual dagers".

All of this is quite disturbing, and I would like to make a few comments.

When I think I can handle Trans-Formation I will read it, but have read many other books on sexual abuse and I am by no means an expert, just learn what I can.

Being from a dysfunctional family myself, where there was sexual abuse of my sister, and quite possibly my brother (I will take to my grave) as he died from a drug overdose at the young age of eighteen.

Now, my best guess is that Jon Benet's brother knows that little something that could quite possibly solve this case.

There was a disgruntled former business associate of John Ramsey's that had sued him (and lost) for the exact amount of the "ransom demand" who was, apparently, not interesting enough for the investigators. The exact amount of the ransom demand was also the exact same amount of a bonus Mr Ramsey had received from the company. I remember reading that the police thought that was suspicious and one of the reasons that led them to Patsy as the killer. The lawsuit amount and the bonus amount were related (the plaintiff claimed it should have been his, IIRC) and it was an odd number: $193,000, or some such. The lawsuit was mentioned John Douglas' book The Cases That Haunt Us.

A garrote made from a length of nylon cord and the handle of a paintbrush had been used to strangle her; her skull had suffered severe blunt trauma. The missing half of the paintbrush was discovered in Patsy Ramsey's art supplies.

It was noted by experts that the construction of the garrote required a special knowledge of knots. The skull trauma came right as she was dying of the strangling, because there was no swelling or blood from the head wound.
