Thank you! I am mostly at home and resting a lot, thankful to have a second chance at life. There are up’s and down’s day to day. Overall, I’m a long way from being back to my normal state of health, but I am happy that this week I saw a doctor who offers hope of his guiding me in that direction. Since it appears that recovery will take a good deal of time with associated expenses, I struggle to not feel stress – both the stress of thinking about huge hospital and other medical bills as well as regular living expenses while I am unable to work -- and also the stress of not being able to accomplish what I am so passionate about doing for others. Sheriff Mack’s health costs are being paid for by people who want to help. They are freely volunteering to help someone in need. The former is tyranny. The latter is liberty. And that’s why the ACA is a poor law: it takes away just a little bit of our liberty. And when we lose our civil liberties, we never get them back. We don’t need mandatory health insurance.
