I was thinking the same thing - what is the purpose of marriage these days?

I would love to be married - but only if the pretext that there was a true and valued meaning to that - which would be upheld - at the very least by the two individuals entering into the promise with trust honour and respect as well as love; I feel so old-fashioned and confused by people's desires these days.

I wonder if this is a way of society saying that it understands marriages break down and that people stay together for particular reasons - but that they should not then be deprived of other aspects of life or be completely caught in that trap????

Oops, reply is mixed into the above post...

True Love is the Divine Law that governs us all from within...

Pure in Heart Love is not a RE'LEGION, it is that which creates all life and is always true with purpose...

Marty

One = Two that are Pure in Heart as that which you have described above from your heart, mind and the essence of your being...

That actually isn't a prerequisite. I am attracted to extreme kindness, softness, acts of dedication, love and loyalty; a good moral compass; humour; various forms of intelligence; a feeling of comfort and safety - it's hard to define.

He is good - he came and sat next to me on the couch today which was funny. he chilled and watched some telly then got off on his way again. I found my new phone charger cut through - and I think the *Rothschild's wanted me to blame him - but it wasn't chewed so I knew it wasn't him; it was as soon as I said to my daughter that I knew it wasn't him that he came and sat with me.

Crazy? Sorry... wut?????

I love your witty sence of humor...

Thank you for the laughter and smiles...

I had a dog when I was a boy and I named her Mutley, her full name was Lady Lassie Mutley Eng.

Funnest dog I ever had as a friend. She would literally pick the spray nozel on the shop hose and bring it to me to get me to spray it at her while she would catch the water in her mouth, she loved it like it was a game...

I remember her name coming into my conscience being,it was like this is her name and no other name would do...

Mind you rhr I was just a young child then but I knew that that was her name as soon as it came into my consciousness...

The day that I was borne is still very vivid in my mind today as it was when I took my first breath...

Innocence of the Pure in Heart kind knows where the Kingdom resides and what it takes to enter therein...

:) :) :)

Given the Times that are upon the creation this condition of mahns hearts becoming cold and hard as wax was expected for they have forgotten that which creates life...

They have forgotten the Divine Law of the Pure in Heart innocence of Love that they were when they were into a corrupt world...

This is not over by a longshot for all of this needed to come to pass...

Now it is up to the creation to decide to live or be in great peril for the judgement that is coming upon will be in their hands and ultimately they will judge themselves...

I know that you know that the Divine Law of Love is not a law written on paper, that which creates Life must be residing in us and speaking through us...

We hang all things on just two sayings that have been spoken into existence...

Love thy Father and Mother that their days be long...

Love one another and your neighbor as you Love yourselves...

Once we act upon and speak these two
sayings into existence again it will have an effect as never before, a renewing for all who seek the Kingdom...

I am thankful you are hear to talk to. You are a genuine * in a dark place...

Re: Adultery Now Legal - South Korea
Marriage isn't a legally binding contract because there is no equitable exchange. You can't force an adult to be a piece of sexual chattel to another under any non-archaic legislation. You can't legally compel a sovereign human to put out on command, nor claims legal ownership of their bodies or even just their reproductive.

What's more, it's always the western idea of 'traditional marriage' that is touted as proper,correct,and/or equitable when in reality, it has always allowed for infidelity on the part of the male while the female has been both morally Abu until recently legally expected to be a paradigm of virtue and chastity. Only giving it up to the hubby, and upon demand without hesitation or question.

The official reason for this disparity was to ensure the offspring carried bunny's DNA and the family name was carried only by the legitimate.

Of course, modern genetic testing has made this a moot point. The only reason to demand fidelity from the wife whilst having a whore on the side is because you think you have ownership of or legal control of her based upon a government-issued 5apiece of paper.

Perhaps the government's of the world should get the fuck out of the business of policing the sexual relationships of consenting adults all together.

Perhaps instead of regulating marriages, we should criminalize divorce.

Maybe individuals should be more realistic about their matrimonial choices and choose spouses based upon reality and spiritual compatibility rather than how big their Tits and/or bank account happen to be.

Marriage isn't a legally binding contract because there is no equitable exchange...
 Quoting: Em18966

Marriage is all about creating a durable family unit, an emotionally and financially secure environment for raising children. The equitable exchange is just the understanding that each will play his/her part, however they agree to do it.

There was a time, we believe, when committing "until death do us part" was itself a form of consideration. The motive for that is that children, as adults, will feel obligated to help their parents and be less free to have their own families if their parents are not at the same time committed to helping each other, essentially forever.

Adultery has been decriminalized in the west for a few decades now.

Marriage has no legal meaning or value.

I would love to be married - but only if the pretext that there was a true and valued meaning to that - which would be upheld - at the very least by the two individuals entering into the promise with trust honour and respect as well as love; I feel so old-fashioned and confused by people's desires these days.

The purpose of marriage is that you have to have the strength and morals to commit yourself to another for life..Really simple.
