if you can use it as a kind of mental exercise, think loving thoughts about the object of your desire and maybe even dedicate your thoughts and energies to the Most High, (try praising and thanking him for creating beautiful women) then you should get a positive karmic uplift and feel in a creative, peaceful and focused mood afterwards...

There is a spiritual counterpart to sexual energy. Sexual energy should be expended in a love realtionship or transmuted into sublime energies.

Excessive masturbation will drain a man physically as well -- the semen loss requires a great deal of internal energy to replace. Semen is a very highly refined fluid, and is comparable to spinal fluid.

A woman does not experience the same external loss that a man does. Read some of the Chinese Taoist texts. A woman could have sex all day and drain many men ... she grows stronger and the men grow weaker and older. But for a woman to have sex with many men sets up conflicting energies within her, and is not good.

If a couple learns to properly exchange physical and suble energies during sex, both will benefit greatly -- physically and spiritually.

Well, not only do "new agers" claim that it is harmful or destructive, but Christianity has declared it the sin of "self-love". I said it lowered vibration like those other things. And a lowered vibration focuses one in onto the personality more, one's own person at the expense of others - in competition, and one is not able to see beyond it.

In reality all things are like ourselves in their essence. And when we start to recognize the familiar in all that we see, then we start to relax more and enjoy. We look for the harmony in action, rather than competition and cruelty.

Cruelty doesn't have to be physical cruelty, Starless, it may be emotional cruelty when we cut off someone from communication.. This blocked communication occurs all the time and is the cause of war of one sort or another.
