I think we shoud be ok, this one's nothing like Puyehue in 2011, that one devastated us with more than a half of meter of volcanic rock.

A lot of roofs collapsed, animals starved, no electricity or water for 21 days, thievery etc

Not nice, some places got more than 80 cm of pumice...

What do you do with all that ash and rock?
Do people move and never go back, or do you just shovel it away (like snow) and try to rebuild?

Some of us are still removing it, it's a slooow process but we're back in our feet.

I've been wondering why so many eathquakes in Chile lately. This could be the answer.

Lol, earthquakes in Chile are a common thing, at least two or three times a year you get a 5.something, so there is nothing "lately" about it.
