The US and their coalitions are scattered all over.Some, we know we probably can't trust. Supposedly going after ISIS.
Every back ally fighter group is involved, although I don't know all their names. Although Iran has already been helping Iraq, they have sent in a convoy of tanks along with other armor. This isn't going to please the US and their allies.

If there was a convoy then we let them into Iraq on purpose. Over 20 years ago I seem to remember convoys that weren't in the best interest of the US didn't really go so well.

If obama did that Saudi would end the US dollar overnight.

Iraq became a hell hole after the first gulf war. Use to have the best medical facilities in the middle east and was reduced to carrying out c sections without anaesthetic because of U.S. sanctions placed under Clinton.
Lost half a million children due to those sanctions. (described by Madeline albright as 'acceptable loses').
