What do you worship? Everyone worships something whether they know it or not.

The word worship is a very interesting one. To some it might conjure up images of carrying out rituals, to others it might simply be a metaphor.

But we all worship things whether conscious of it or not.

Today we see people worshiping all sorts of things.

The first thing we see people worshiping is their Ego. This is undeniable. In the ancient times, people were able to see this entity separate from themselves. Hence the reason, people worshiped the Angels and the Father, to do His Will on Earth as it is in Heaven, and never forget. Do not let the Beast within make you forget! Always remember who you truly are!

The second people worship today are celebrities. Imagine instead of magazines, cinema, movies, TV series you have statues of them. What would you say that is? Is it not idolatry? Is it not worship.

The third thing people worship is official science and information of the government, the government itself. People who put their hopes and trust into these things are basically worshiping them.

The fourth thing people worship is technology. Just look at all those iPhone users. or iPad users. Or any mobile device. They are worshiping it but do not recognize it. Perhaps this is what TPTB want. The Metropolitan police now has warning adverts for people to be watchful of their phones so it doesn't get stolen by thieves. Okay good. But in the adverts it say "Love your phone" with a big heart on it. I think people love their phones already too much with the amount of time they spend on it.

Where does this leave us? With so much of our energies going into worshiping these things, what is left within us to worship something that truly matters? Where is God? Where is our Innermost Being, that is waiting for us to reconnect with Him? Remember Michelangelo's painting of Creation of Adam on the Sistine Chapel? God is trying to reach us, but we make no effort to connect with Him.

When your life comes to a close in this realm, you shall feel great remorse when you see it was all real, and you made no effort to find Him.

By doing spiritual practices, it is possible to EXPERIENCE magical things. Do not simply believe, but use your belief to do practices, practices to have direct mystical experiences, experiences that make you find faith and God.
