Wrong, Schools in East London been closing for two days over Eid for years.

It is not the closing of the schools that bother me, it is the double standard, anti-Christian standard that annoys
me.

Christianity, Christmas, Christmas concerts, Christmas carols, wishing another a Merry Christmas is consider an offense and has been stripped from the public school system. Christmas holiday is now winter holiday/break, even though Christmas is A FEDERAL HOLIDAY and we are not even allowed to mention it.

If you can't see why there is anger over this then go back to sleep you are of no use to anyone...

I agree. The American culture should continue it's own holidays and religious rituals.
