People suffer and starve to death every day and people cry when their pampered shit yapping dog dies! What is wrong with you people?

I saw a person with a dog in a shopping cart yesterday and I was struck by the utter hippocracy and the inequality of human life.

I must admit that life here on earth is a mystery to me at times...

Just my small rant to keep from yelling at innocent people.

Hey, I have dogs and cats, and take good care of them. but OP is corect. WTSHTF and me and my family are starving we are having cat dog steaks with a side of cat stew. Peoples perspectives and values are really screwed up.

People will spend thousands of dollars on expensive dog and cat food and pet medicines and then walk right by a homeless person.

You people make me sick.

I care more for my cat than 99% of the human race.

And I'm not ashamed to admit it.

My little dog has been by my side the ENTIRE time I have been sick.
Years now. She wakes me up when it is time for my medication,
She attempts to lie on my legs and body when I start having a seizure even though she gets hurt.
She gives me LOVE no matter what. She is never disappointed in me.
She appreciates the care and love I give her. She thinks I am the most wonderful person who ever lived.

My own daughter has come to visit me only a handful of times during my illness and that always ends up in her actually needing something from me.
Not just a visit because she loves me and wants to keep me company.
And I have always been a great mom. No one loves their kid more than I do and gave more to insure she had a future. I worked myself to death. I never had that kind of financial advantage given to me from my own parents.

I agree with you in one sense however. I am not wealthy enough to spoil my dog like I see some doing. Buying gold and diamond collars etc.

I would help people and have helped people in the past. I am no longer in a position to help them financially. Where are all my friends that I helped out with thousands and thousands of dollars, gave them a job, housing, benefits etc.?
Not even a card or phone call.

I still continue to give any homeless person I see my last dollar.

Animals are BETTER than people.

I was hoping that someone more wise than I could somehow explain such madness.

These people will pay thousands for chemo for the pets and pet cemetaries while humans die because of no medical care.

There is a certain book that ascertains that mankind was created in the form of a supreme being.

And said supreme being gave mankind dominion over animals.

For thousands of years various groups of people have been trying to undermine the popularity of said book.

Right now "those people" are winning the argument.

I am an old man, but sure, I have had many pets and loved them all throughout my long life.

But, I have chosen to not have any more pets just because of the inequality that it raises in my heart. It just doesn't make sense to me to support a pet with so many humans going hungry at night.

Plus, I really can't financially justify it now.

But, my whole rant was not against the love people can have for animals, but the human hippocracy of loving a pet and then ignoring others around us.

Plus, I know that people will discard their pets when times get really tough. Because few really understand love. I see it daily.

I may view, it is better to speak our own truths and to be ridiculed for it than to speak half truths and be accepted within society.
