How does 'The Game' work, what are 'The Rules'? Who is Playing?

Someone posted a topic recently that was like, "Does GLP have a strange amount of specific threads relating to your thoughts lately?". And I do often find that to be the case. Now, I mean, I assume a somewhat similar skepticism and "always question until it seems true to you" mental background drew us all here... so I can't put too much validity into that as an explanation. But, there certainly is an undeniable synchronicity with this website. Can't deny that.

Ah, yes I am the OP of this thread. Do not worry, there is no need to trust me. I believe that the content of a good message is more important then the person saying it. I post here with the belief that it is enough merely to stir thoughts out of a place of rest. I believe also it is fine to withhold judgement of a person - ie whether or not you trust them - indefinitely, until somehow you are struck by that person's feel, and in that case you eventually have enough of an intuitive basis to decide whether or not you feel they ought to be trusted.

Particularly on GLP, where friend or foe is difficult to discern, I understand the necessity to be wary of making any judgement prematurely, and to be both open-minded and cautious about people, neither paranoid nor too trusting. A hard balance to strike indeed.

I first starting posting on GLP in December of 2012 and began reading in perhaps november of 2012.

Caylus Ark is not a handle I came up with for this site exclusively...it has been the name I have chosen to name avatar characters since about 14 more or less. I am unsure how I came up with the name. It is as if I reached within for the name and it was there, waiting, and had always been.

The thread you speak of has been posted more then one time in my history of coming here. Is it because many people notice this at different times and continue asking....OR is it that somebody who already knows is trying to point out the phenomena to people who have yet to decide whether or not they believe it is real...?

Idea: glp is a login interface for collective consciousness when used correctly.

I posted this thread anonymously due to a hunch. I am often targeted. So saying something for the content of the message itself is easier without a name. When my name is on sometimes the topic gets derailed by ethos ad hominid attempts. And of course instatargeting oblivion. It's fine sometimes but not if I really desire to share a certain thing I think is particularly interesting.

Hiya Seer, good to see you. School is pretty good. Have an essay due this Thursday I should be writing now. Got sucked in by GLP last night though I've been avoiding it.

I am good. Wrapping up about 3 weeks straight at the beach house. It was like Summer here but better. No wind. High 50's, low 60's and sunshine. Tank top weather. It was kinda unbelievable.

The way I intellectually approach the existence of such this thread, (as a way I approach most information) is attempt to consider all the potentials;

1. the person who wrote that is completely joking and there is no truth to the claim.

2. the person who wrote that really is in the know and people do use these boards to send messages.

3. the person who wrote that was completely joking, but their is truth to the claim.

4. the person is in the know, and wrote it, as an attempt to make the truth they were claiming appear silly and unlikely true

5. maybe potentials I am missing.

If number 2 is true, I immediately wonder if in our technological world there is not some more efficient means of relaying messages. But then yes, I am countered with the thought that utilizing a public forum to covertly relay messages, is quite a good idea. This idea being a good idea, may be the source of the person 1. They thought of a potential, they were proud of their thought, so they wished to put it out there as if they knew it were true, we can imagine this sort of thing occurring often.

All in all when i comes down to it, whether spys and sneaky good and/or evil people are sending messages here or via facebook, I do not want to exert my effort and attention to attempt to know everything or anything these people are messaging back and forth.

What is an example of a message you intercept being of value? What would you hope to achieve that would be greater than joining a social circle? If there were secret messages being relayed, what is an example of the most or more important ones that you could intercept, and what would you do with that information?

I am not trying to be defeatist, but is it not possible that if you wish to exert your powers for goodness, that exerting your attention on this theme of potential codes and messages on this site, self defeatist, a distraction?

of course because you are a good conspiracy theorist and skeptic you will consider that this response is evidence that you are really onto something, as the general nature of my response is one in which it appears as if i were attempting to divert your attention away from exactly what you are interested in. I can only state that what I have written as you can see is a solid attempt to be unbiased and objective, and my advice and arguments are backed by the desire to achieve whats best for you and all who align themselves with goodness.

So why make a thread asking abunch of questions you already know the answers to?

Awesome about the smoking! You're just about double where I am at - a little over a month now. I'm doing really well, not thinking about it really, except that I now actually notice when people are smoking cigarettes - it's funny but as a smoker, you stop smelling cigarettes...most other things too (the world has a smell now, so strange) but cigarettes especially have such a noticeable smell.

I've been watching a lot of naruto and speculating on the themes. I have also been playing the crap out of a game called Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, which is notoriously unforgiving in difficulty. The hunt is a good zen, because reading and understand the movement of monsters requires focus and attention and a totality of presence...

I posted using software on my computer that generates a highly secure connection and is known as a vpn. That is how I post on GLP anonymously. If I post just as not logged in I can easily be found as CA.

I read constantly though it's been awhile since I have read a work of normal fiction. I read lots of novels as I kid. I now read nonfiction. Emerson's Essays, Jung's Red Book, and Manly P. Hall's Secret Teachings of All Ages are some top picks for me off the cuff.

Yes, by some it is known as chasing the white rabbit, you fall down a whole of endless misinformation and never get to the actual heart of an issue or actually doing any good because you are too distracted by the rabbit.

I don't think that I have fallen for this trap, however.

Cognitive Science. I learn about brains and the various things that can go wrong inside of them. I'm a psych major on the sciency side of it rather then the social/behavioral side though I am well versed enough in the subject that it is all pretty familiar stuff.

I may know the answers but I don't want to up my certainty prematurely. My knowledge is far better then it used to be but incomplete, I hope to broaden my ability to see the picture correctly.

v is a friend registered to my 3ds. So he's been enjoying new pokemon games I can tell .
