Think of it this way... When the creator returns, he will be judging his own creation.

Your soul has always existed. So maybe you did ask to be born and agreed to being here. However you can't remember it since they wiped your memories when you were born. When you life is done and you file your complaint about not wanting to be born, they will so you a video clip of you agreeing to be born. It is kind of like in Total Recall where Quad agrees to his assignment and has his memories erased.

We all chose to come here to learn, you just forgot.
