He also said that eight guards had been beheaded in the attack. Apparently, one oil worker had also died of a heart attack after witnessing the Be headings. The foreigners worked for the oilfield management company Value Added Oilfield Services (VAOS) and we're apparently transported away from the oil field. The army spoesman said that the hostages were not injured at that point. Do not fear the great changes we face at this time. As of yet, no demands have been made by any group or individual for the return of the hostages. The latest abduction came more than a month after the kidnapping of three Filipinos at the Mabruk Oil Field on Feb. 3. Their whereabouts are still unknown.
