Indian Lake Project CONSPIRACY - Adirondacks, NY

I hear ya. That's why I posted this. Further research and verification required.

Always been some weird goings on in upstate NY. Lot's of UFO activity especially around the mountain regions and very intense near the Harriman State Park and Pine Bush area over near Minnewaska Preserve and Mohonk. Lots of iron ore and quartz in the earth in those areas creates magnetic anomalies.

Quick google search turned up this with more in depth info but no further conclusion as to hoax or not.

This seems similar to the McGill University projects.

Thanks for the further research Lemon. Scary stuff. I assume this was similar to the Montauk Project also. I've been out there a few times and the vibe in the air has an odd quality about it.

Hi, I live near Indian Lake and just saw the article you're talking about pop up in a news feed so of course I had to look into it. Cause I live here and have never heard this.
First, Minnewaska Preserve and Mohonk...are not "upstate" they are almost 200 miles from us. That is "down state".
A quick fact check screams hoax. But you never know anymore. Word up here is that no one else has ever located the structures in the photos and it's a small town full of hunters and trappers, someone would have found it beside the mystery blogger...I would think.

Maybe a topic for another thread but what we do get a lot of up here is Bigfoot sightings. The Adirondacks are 6 million million protected acres so it's a heck of a large forest. MonsterQuest came up here looking around a couple years back.

The cowsills cut a record in the 60s called Indian Lake. Maybe some obscure clue is tucked in the words of that tune.

Hey thanks for the further info. I actually came back across this thread through a google search tonight. Find it interesting that you responded on 11/11 from my 3/11 post. Was going to consider a hike up there but too spooked now to attempt.
