I wonder if we could "influence" CERN into another shut down for a couple more years.

By thinking about an outcome we can influence the chance that outcome happens. I believe we've lost our way and for the most part lost our ability to influence our world through conscience thought.

And we know that humans can think about events and influence the future. Even MIT has confirmed that somehow we can influence seemingly random events by simply thinking about a specific outcome.

So how about we all visualize the particles whirling around CERN an near light speed. One set going one direction, another traveling in the opposite.

Now visualize the intense magnetic fields needed to keep these particles in the center of the collider as they travel around.

Now imagine that somewhere along these miles and miles of pipe. There is a disturbance in the magnetic field.

This disturbance is not extreme enough to even be noticed, but CERN is aware that a leak exists "somewhere".

Now simply imagine these stray particles smashing into the walls of the conduit and causing a short lived cascade of additional particles to trail out in all direction.

Now imagine that some of these stray particles make contact with the memory of several nearby sensors. This effectively destroys these sensors and causes CERN to take a two year break to repair the damage.

We could consider ourselves psychic terrorists.
