Mystery Mars plume baffles scientists

Mars is one big, never-ending anomaly - yawn, but thankfully scientists have dark matter and dark energy for the really important stuff. Nevermind that it's totally speculative and unsubstantiated - but it makes their theories work...and the grant checks REAL!

There ought to be a law where it is defamation to say that professional scientists are baffled, in particular with a science journal. Come back and report something when they do know.

Use your common sense and notice that there are secret private companies, if not the government companies, hiding under, oh I don't know, names like the militarized US space thing, that they are mining fro water or using explosives on the red planet.

If nasa didn't pull off an artist rendering for the real thing.

Plumes like that indicate drilling or explosives. With laser beam technology these days, capable of destroying ships on the water of Earth, it is possible that they are laser-beaming the surface causing destruction of it.

Another theory is earthquakes. Quakes equal dust in the mountains, but I doubt this one considering those plumes likely have not been seen before.

Maybe the Hollywood elite have gotten so rich they're filming a Total Recall sequel on the planet. Quaid...

There's a lot we don't know.

Why would they not be baffled by something they've never seen?
