Even if they are not conscious of it, all men and all women are looking for what is referred to as their soul mate. What most people do not realize, however, is that the concept of a soul mate is one of inner life. Before we can find our soul mate, we must first have found him or her inwardly, through meditation, through contemplation, otherwise all these experiences are more or less doomed to failure. It is vital to recognize this truth. Once a man has found the feminine principle within him and the woman has found the masculine principle within her and once they are ready to serve this principle and work for it, then these two people can love each other and unite. Their love will be a source of blessing. Through her beloved, the woman will see the celestial Father and through his beloved the man will see the divine Mother. From then on all treasures will open up before them and they will live in joy and beauty always.
