What would happen if there was a Nuclear attack- Would there be a warning? | |

Just a touch of the button turns them into Air Raid sirens. In my town, they test all three siren tones, (Warning, Weather, and all-clear) each spring, usually on the first Thursday in April. After that, it's a weekly siren test at 11AM on Fridays, unless there is a tornado. (It's located at the volunteer fire Dept.) The county seat tests both Warning and weather every week. I live in Canada and where I live we don't have sirens going off warning of incoming weather of any kind. I am sure Mexico probably doesn't either and I don't imagine warning sirens have gone off in downtown New York city or LA either. If it did it would make the news because everyone in New York city would be gabbing about hearing a warning siren. |

For a very realistic and creeptastic look, one only needs to watch Threads, the 1982 BBC movie. THAT is real. |
