The Church is made up of Christ's true followers who will inherit the earth and live with Him throughout eternity on the New Earth. Jesus returns in person, not in a secret rapture, He never preached a secret rapture, we know that He will return with angels and trumpets, there is NO secret rapture. Besides, the sanctuary service is based on what Jesus came to do and is now doing. His death on the cross was only the beginning. Follow Jesus through the book of Revelation and you'll see Him ministering as our High Priest in heaven (as per Paul's letter to the Hebrews). The Day of Atonement comes in the autumn. Passover (the sacrifice of Christ on the cross) was a one-time event, and now Jesus - and in faith we with Him - has moved into the Most Holy place of the heavenly sanctuary to complete the judgment prior to the great Day of Atonement (the close of probation, the time of trouble, and then His return). Study up on the sanctuary service to see the order of things and how this works. We are definitely in the end stage of the end times. |

First-fruits for this Year falls on the 6th of April 2015 [Day 16 Month 1 Year 6000] Then the Lord will come to resurrect and translate all those who love Him by keeping His commandments. I have tried to find one that teaches the Bible and not some program, but those appear to be few and far between. I love my God with all my heart and soul. Being kind to others is number one but in MS churches it is all about backstabbing, seeing who dresses in what, sneaking around and turning away people who are slightly different. It is a shame that Christians can't seem to even get along. Those who believe in a Pre-Trib rapture hate those who believe in a catching up when the 2nd Coming happens. The love is already missing from the hearts of those who claim to believe. Every Bible thread, some troll comes in and talks about how cruel the church is or even God. That is so sad to see. They are filled with hate because they were hurt by so called Christ loving people. Please try to remember, we are to lead like Christ, with love. Not aimed at anyone, just needed to unload a little. The "sign of Jonah" - TO ME - means the coming of a prophet (Jonah) to preach repentance. There are literally hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) who are preaching repentance ahead of God's judgment today. Thank you for your answer. I find that you were inspired to give me your understanding much more interesting than the answer you gave. You may well be right. The implication seems to be that the "sign of Jonah" is something mundane, something "average" that the people of the end times don't even hear any more. Like the boy that cried "wolf!", after a while the people just didn't hear him, even when there was a real wolf. How do you explain the absence of the events of the first 4 seals? The 5th seal tells the martyrs in heaven to wait a little while longer for their full number to be completed. If the seals happen during the last week of 7 years, what events can you point as evidence for the Black and Pale horse riders that come before those who have been martyred to keep waiting? Revelation 7:9, "those who have come out of the great tribulation" follows the opening of the 6th seal and events like "Great earthquake", "everyone hid in caves", "the sky receding like a scroll" and so one. Where is the evidence for those events happening already? I do not know when these things will happen. I do think it will be soon and that we are even in the season, but I don't see evidence that any of them have happened already. I agree it's been obvious for years that it's coming. My understanding of the matter is that the lukewarm Western churches will not fare well and that sadly many who where once "Christians" will be lost.
