He won a best supporting actor Academy Award for 'The Last Picture Show' which was his first movie right out of college and has been in over 150 movies since.

So, this guy was really just being himself on Independence Day?

He obviously was acting and it was kind of funny if not slightly disturbing. He looked healthy though physically. I think at least in the video he is very aware of how his actions look it was as if he was even laughing himself with a occassional glance at his watch awaiting the 4 minute mark.

Nothing that special really he should get back into independent films.
Anyone ever see that one movie where him and Jack Nicholson are two sailors?

Either:

A: This is a brilliant and once talented and now deeply disturbed man who has all but lost touch with reality and who desperately needs help and needs it NOW… or

B: He is right. There is an Evil Cabal running Hollywood and somehow he became aware of it, became a part of it, and then somehow escaped. This cabal will mock and taunt him. They will belittle him and make it impossible for him to ever act again. And when they have decided the spotlight is far away from him, on some extremely slow news day, they will kill him - secure in the knowledge that no one ever believed what he told them - even though every word of it was true.



C: Is it paranoia if there really are evil entities who are trying to kill you? Or just normal fear and trepidation?
