Why? because this world is too absurd for any logical reasoning.

Is it true though tat the rich back in the day created the bible to control people.

But still this is way too absurd to even begin to put into context.

I don't know about rich, but yes.

I went from Xtian to Atheist to Satanist.

What religion are you now?

They say they dont have Hebrew manuscripts of "The New Testament" and guess what? I believe "they" do and I will put Faith in what I have read and understand about YAHUSHUWAH HAMASHIAC. The truth may be fragmented and mistranslated over and over to you, but I find the truth to be perfect and never hid from those who search for it. YAHUWAH is the truth.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31820363

And you are entitled to do so! I will be the last to dispute that point but don't try to shove your beliefs on me or on others! Share if you will but SHARE only!
 Quoting: Ozicell

sorry but you are also doing it
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25242465

You are possibly right and so I yield and state that ALL I have stated is in the spirit of sharing and is TOTALLY MHO! hf

When I fought in WW2 (I'm 97), I saw the stupidity of mankind, I also became an atheist. Nothing would ever make me want to go back to something so stupid and idiotic as religion.
Many use religion as a way to control the masses, those who are unable to truly think for themselves.

I've also seen a dumbing down of society through television and other media to such an extent that some of my great grandkids seem to have little idea who actually won WW2, and their Teachers seem even more stupid and politically correct.

I had a visit from the local church asking why I don't go, and when I said I was an atheist they were astounded. But you're 97 they said. So? I said, what difference does that make? Well, they said, we'd think you'd want to make sure you get into heaven when you die.

I laughed. I have no intention of slowing down. I jog a lot, work out a few times a week, and go swimming. I tend to walk most places, and don't even own a car. I'm signed up to be cyrogenically frozen when I die, so I get to be ressurrected hopefully in the future, although my Doctor said I'm as healthy as a person less than half my age, she has no idea why and is pretty amazed at how good I am for 97. LOL.

At almost 59 I admire your tenacity in life! I hope if I am around at your age I can say the same as you. As to your conclusions - I bow to your superior years of experience. As to what each new day brings for us? That remains a mystery until the moment has passed. The same is true for the 'Moment' we call 'LIFE'. Each of us will eventually take the next step even if we live to a 1000 or more years. What comes next, is as mysterious and real as the day that stretches before us with each new dawn. I wish you well on your journey ahead!

My people were doing fine believing in the Nordic gods. They lived inhunting tribes in harmony with nature.

When Christianity was introduces shit hit the fan, inquisition, dark ages, disconnection from nature, politics,

If anything is the big satan it was Christianity and all other Abrahamic religions who came and infected the world.

Look at Indians and Aboriginals before and after the Christian invasion. Both cultures are destroyed and what remains is addicted to booze and drugs.

From the late eighth century until the 1950s, no one who thought of Vikings regarded their lifestyle choice as other than evil, notwithstanding their evident adventurousness, bravery, ambition and can-do outlook. They transformed the politics, social structures and economy of much of Europe. After the Viking Age — from the 13th century — their behaviour, adventures and wickedness were hammed up by generation after generation of writers.

The inspiration behind the Vikings: Life and Legend exhibition, which opens at the British Museum next week, is resolutely realistic. Even in a bloodthirsty and barbaric age, Vikings induced terror. The Viking lifestyle — and it was a way of life, not an ethnic group — was driven by a desire to get rich quick. Whether that involved robbing tombs, trading slaves or committing massacres, they did what was necessary to become rich and famous. This exhibition tells us what we have always known. Why, then, is it worthy of particular notice?

exactly, but somehow the middle east is the scapegoat for this, but the Hebrews were just as bad as well as every other empire all over the world.

So humanity is imploding on itself. Always has been.

This is where asome knowledge of history and cultures is valuable.

That is not to excuse any of it but to see it within context.
The pre Abrahamic religion pagans were horrible . The Hebrews were no worse but were practicing their new found religion within a culture that didn't work for the hoped for outcome .
Thus Jesus was sent .

And still .......

It's a choice.

I don't really care if any of you accept Yeshua. It would be nice but it's your choice.

What I do care about is the truth be told about Him and His works and His message. Not what has or has been done in His name.
Quit misrepresenting and lying about Christianity.

That goes for many Christians(ministers too) as well who don't know what they don't know.

You fall into the Deism category according to what you have been saying. See below.

Antitheism (sometimes anti-theism) is active opposition to theism. The term has had a range of applications; in secular contexts, it typically refers to direct opposition to organized religion or to the belief in any deity, while in a theistic context, it sometimes refers to opposition to a specific god or gods.

Atheism is, in a broad sense, the rejection of belief in the existence of deities. In a narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities. Most inclusively, atheism is the absence of belief that any deities exist.

Agnosticism In the popular sense of the term, an "agnostic", according to the philosopher William L. Rowe, is someone who neither believes nor disbelieves in the existence of God, while a theist believes that God does exist and an atheist believes that God does not exist.

Deism is a natural religion. Deists believe in the existence of God, on purely rational grounds, without any reliance on revealed religion or religious authority or holy text. Because of this, Deism is quite different from religions like Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
For Deists, human beings can only know God via reason and the observation of nature, but not by revelation or supernatural manifestations (such as miracles) – phenomena which Deists regard with caution if not skepticism.

Theism The positive assertion of knowledge, either of the existence of gods or the absence of gods, can also be attributed to some theists and some atheists. Put simply, theism and atheism deal with belief, and agnosticism deals with (absence of) rational claims to asserting knowledge.

God, through Christ, becomes the solution for a problem we cannot solve. His motive? John 3:16. The requirement to have that applied to us? Faith — Trust the solution. That’s it.

No endless and futile effort to appease an angry deity. The deity solves the problem himself on your behalf. That’s pretty nice of him, especially when you’re helpless to fix the problem yourself.

First, atheism is the absence of religious beliefs. Atheism is not opposed to theism, as atheism is the absence of theism. Atheism is opposed to deism since there is no belief in supernatural being such as great architector, and they reject people with the absence of this belief - therefore, this is being a hidden opposition.
