Well, no it's not. This is a list of what he thinks is in scripture. He seems content to believe it because he gains sonething by believing it - enabling him to justify his rejection. Take for example the love of money is the root of all evil....it's actually the love of silver....with Cain meaning acquired ....buying abd selling takes on a whole different meaning .....if I said to you 'he bought the lie'....do you catch my drift? So, now, can not possessions, wealth etc take on a whole different meaning? |
