IMO all religions are guilty of brainwashing; a Christian has no right to call out a brainwashed Muslim child when Christian children are equally as brainwashed. That said I have a great deal of respect for those who do wish to follow religions and think there probably is something in it somewhere; there are too many similarities and coincidences for it all to be b.s.

However, I don't agree with forcing your religions down anybody's throats, I think religion should be something you keep to yourself and practice at home or in your designated place of worship. If you respect the culture and laws of the country you have chosen to live in and you make the effort to speak the native language, I really don't think there's any problem with multiculturalism. That way, in public, the only noticeable difference between you would be your skin colour and clothing choices. I'm no fan of the burka- I think it's disconcerting not to be able to see a persons face and I think it's incredibly sexist- but it's not harming anyone, except perhaps the woman wearing it, if she's wearing it because she has been forced to by her husband.

Marching chanting children through the streets should not be tolerated, regardless of religion. Even if they were shouting "Ice cream is great!" over and over they're still disturbing the peace; it isn't acceptable, and I find myself agreeing with those who've said they're trying to stir things or prove a point. I also question why the event was filmed with a decent camera and posted to Liveleak if not to cause controversy in the first place.

I work for a Muslim man and am a white British female. He shows me the utmost respect and kindness, and even if because of his religion he thinks I'm going to hell or whatever else, he has never said anything offensive or judgmental to me, and we have a great relationship.

The key to peace is tolerance, don't forget that.

All races of our planet were involved in the second one.

Of course they haven't hurt anyone, but these children don't really understand their faith, they haven't even fully understood the word faith at that point let alone what it is they are supposed to have faith in. No one can make those decisions until later in life when they understand in their depths the meaning of things. If this was faith then it would be varied and free and unhindered but they are forced to accept one faith, the faith of their forefathers acceptance. If they do not accept they are stoned or beaten and disowned, this is not faith, it is forced belief through fear of punishment. That is the behaviour of an automaton and robs their minds of self decision where they may choose their faith according to their hearts.
All this is is parental forced belief, mind control and their leaders know that, it keeps their army strong. And no, it is not limited to their faith, there are others of course that are born out of the same fashioned manipulations on the wills of the young.
