This is how responsible gun owners proceed in deescalating a potentially dangerous situation. And that is how a whiny little punk with a knife is dealt with. Also I commend the police for respecting the citizen and his right to carry. Married to a ginger |

They clearly have their heads on straight and understood the situation before arriving Quoting: KickAzCarlin I LIKE THE FACT the dude has his gun drawn on the wetback. all the while the cop casually gets outta car, and cares not about a gun drawn, and goes a cuffs the perp. good cops right there, trusting the citizen, while of course already knowing the gun was out im sure. he he had of arrived without knowing im sure he would of tended to the gun first , right? a veracious one. gott mit uns. |

Yes, they would have, which is why clear and concise communication is so important. The guy called 911 and clearly told them what happened and that he had the suspect laying on the ground at gunpoint. The cops knew about it before they arrived. The CCW holder wasn't emotional (angry, yelling, etc.) and I'm sure he came across as level-headed when talking with the 911 dispatcher. |

The officer, that first arrives on the scene, shows no concern regarding the man holding a gun. He immediately goes to the dude on the ground. Then the "citizen" walks towards his vehicle, passes another cop, who's busy chatting on the phone, and proceeds to his vehicle with gun in hand. Also watch him on phone ... he didnt call 911 ... pushes way to many keys. Anyways thats what i saw. |

Didn't really look at him or anything. Could have been a set up. You never know what you could really be walking into. Anyway, glad this went smoothly! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68656748 Race baiter. If a black guy dressed and acted exactly as this gun guy did (who may have even known the cops) and had called the cops and let them know the situation, he would not have been shot. |

Quoting: SN7 Yeah... "Hey, he's an unarmed man. Put the gun down." That's what the media does in their articles and on TV...emphasizing over and over again the fact that these poor thugs are unarmed.
