Yes, they would have, which is why clear and concise communication is so important.

The guy called 911 and clearly told them what happened and that he had the suspect laying on the ground at gunpoint. The cops knew about it before they arrived.

The CCW holder wasn't emotional (angry, yelling, etc.) and I'm sure he came across as level-headed when talking with the 911 dispatcher.

This guy was undercover cop.

The officer, that first arrives on the scene, shows no concern regarding the man holding a gun. He immediately goes to the dude on the ground.

Then the "citizen" walks towards his vehicle, passes another cop, who's busy chatting on the phone, and proceeds to his vehicle with gun in hand.

Also watch him on phone ... he didnt call 911 ... pushes way to many keys.

I am all for this, but I was surprised the cop didn't really order the guy with the gun to drop it or anything. Didn't really look at him or anything. Could have been a set up. You never know what you could really be walking into. Anyway, glad this went smoothly!
