The very definition of good and evil in modern secular terms is no longer defined by Christianity, but by "the holocaust." In other words, Hitler is the epitome of evil and the suffering dying Jews the epitome of good.

That's what is meant by a central existential event. And that is why I asked. The holocaust and the Resurrection of Jesus as defining existential events are mutually exclusive. If you hold to one as most important, you reject the other.
