I donīt know how it will play out, but Bushīs blatent lies are getting on my last nerve. He tried to say that his admin gave one million more Pell Grants. He failed to explain that more people qualified for Pell Grants because there are more people in poverty now. |

You donīt need to be in proverty to get Pell Grant. Further more Proverty levels are subjective and different for each country. If we applied our standards to most EU nations, over half of their people would be in proverty. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU SPEAK RETARD OP. |

You are the idiot. How does it feel? Iīm speaking of poverty in practical terms, not government terms. Why, Iīm sure Shrubboy thinks people making $6.00 per hour are doing just fine. Additionally, the comparison you made is not realistic because the cost of living in a country factors into determining whether someone is below the poverty level. Someone making $10,000.00 in India does very well, while someone making the same amount in the U.S. would be dumpster diving. You are too stupid to attend college. Pell Grant awards are determined by a formula, which is based on needs. THAT IS NOT IN DISPUTE. The point of this thread, dumbass is that the only reason more people have received Pell Grants under Bush is because more people are in poverty under Bush. It is call a CORRELATION. If you manage to pass Statistics 101, which I doubt you will, you might one day understand what a correlation is. The only thing that Bush did to CAUSE more people to receive Pell Grants is to push more people into poverty. That, my ignorant friend, is a fact. |

college isnīt necessary to make a good living. apprentice yourself or go to trade school. make up your own business. just talked to a couple of friends who just decided to open a cleaning business and now they have more than they can handle. but they make their own hours and are their own bosses. they are loving it. get creative and let those high priced edumacations take a leap. btw, i paid my dues and it really isnīt worth it unless you want to be a doctor, nurse, lawyer etc. get my drift? |
