Quoting: Fret Wiz Actually, if you ask the pros like the mafia, they work pretty well. Most of the time they don't even have to follow through. But they understand that a threat that is hollow carries no weight. Eventually they do have to break some legs and split some heads open with baseball bats for the threat to remain credible. If that would have been happening now and again, this Jason Villalba, spick or whatever he is, would have already withdrew that bill. |

Phennommennonn Forum Administrator 03/23/2015 01:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Texas House of Representatives lawmaker Jason Villalba sparked quite a controversy earlier this month after proposing a bill that would make it illegal to photograph a police officer from within 25 feet. People were so angered by the idea that Villalba has received death threats from angry members of the public. Quoting: Fascism Sucks 68681553 [link to petapixel.com] [link to www.youtube.com] political correctness is a doctrine.... fostered by a delusional, illogical minority...... and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media; which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end. |

Photogs are some of the most ravenous, greedy, perceptive and detail-oriented dmca c&d ordering lawsuit threatening fucks alive and support a robust media niche industry that profits greatly on the fact that they can take pictures of anything in public and sell them, effectively the ultimate plagarists, but I digress. Media = tptb so of course, those photo copyright laws are pretty fuckin firm. |

I don't like the bill, but let's think about all those who say marijuana should be legal in states that chooses so, the supreme court rules marijuana as illegal. Slippery slope of leaning on the supreme court, while positive in some aspects, detrimental to the states right arguments. |

I agree, yet it is still an argument. It is taking the states to break down a supreme court ruling, so what they say doesn't always go. There is a major reason why freedom of press is the first amendment, it is highly important. And making a plant illegal back in that time wouldn't have ever flown, shit, it was law to grow it. |

You get pulled over, you turn on your phones cam and put it on the dash. Cop comes up to the window. You're busted son, get out of the car. You're under arrest. Phone gets confiscated for evidence. Everything on it is there's to go through now. All the data goes into the big data police database for future use against you and everyone you know. Car probably gets confiscated too, for being used to conduct a crime. |
