X-Files return with Mulder and Skully

Should have never resurrected, the movie they made sucked, the two dead pan characters... really? I could envision the writers from Breaking Bad doing something edgy with the whole southwest vibe. But not these two again. I'm out.

Also, I'm pretty sure I have a boxed set of the series. But they would be buried in the attic, and further more, on VHS. So that's a bummer. I might go look later tonight. I might come across a VCR, who knows... I'll report back.

Gillian Anderson was on U.K. Top Gear earlier this year, wow, she is more attractive than ever...AND posted a kickass lap time as I recall.

Looking forward to the new shows, gonna have to re watch before then, though.

Yeah, I came in on that episode and am ashamed to admit I didn't even recognize her at first. I'm sure the accent was part of that, she did such a great American accent for the show. She looks great though.

Great news!!

I missed it.

I liked the X-files, watched everyone. I just hope they do not just concentrate on all the alien stuff again, I must admit I started to get a bit bored with all that.
I hope they go back to the first few seasons, every week a different encounter with creatures, and monsters etc, I really enjoyed those seasons.

Well guys aparently our skully is on the lookout for a new man ,could you be the one .Saw it in the london evening standard (paper edition)on my way home from work.

I think the last time I saw Gillian Anderson was "How to lose friends and alienate people" and she looked fantastic.

I hope "The Smoking Man" is in this one.

I bet its a big fat psyop and dis-info campaign. I can see X Files discrediting everything here all the while sending people on wild goose chases. No way does it wake up the sheeple.

I think X-files had the right mix. Big government conspiracy mixed with the paranormal and aliens.
All investigated by a lone geek working for the FBI.

Mulder and Skully both very interesting characters now. Almost 15 years after, we can expect the new episodes to profit from further scientific knowledge.

Most of the episodes were rarely logical consistent however. In the end, i am not sure if i liked or hated this.

Also, later when Mulder got replaced by Agent Doge, it really lost it's appeal. Not because Doge was bad, but because Mulder was just the perfect character for the X-files.

My favorite episodes were always those furthering the main plot, especially when Cancer-Man was also part of it.

Sure.
But what if they are FEEDING the germanium nano-bots we have all been infected with via aluminum powder by aerosol?
I mean, how else would you power them?
