Germanwings Airbus A320 plane crash: Safety alert was issued to jet just four months ago

European authorities released the warning to all A320s after a similar plane, the A321, reportedly experienced a sudden drop in height.

A safety alert was issued four months ago to all Airbus A320s over a fault which could prompt a "nose-down pitch" causing them to lose control, it has emerged.
