My latest social affront (Dental office showdown)

OK, so I am in the dentist lobby waiting for my kids to finish getting their teeth cleaned and another woman comes in with her children. Her children are called back and it is just the woman and me in the very small lobby now. The TV is on and I am trying to read my book.

She pulls out her phone and starts listening to some video (in Spanish) at full blast. It is some talk show and is not ending anytime soon. I can no longer concentrate on my reading and give her "the eye" to embarrass her into turning it down or preferably, off. No such luck. She does not speak English, all the office staff had to speak to her in Spanish only.

I am a little ticked now and so I pull out my car keys and jangle them incessantly to be as annoying as possible. She still does not get the hint. So here I am rattling my keys as loud as possible, she has her phone on full blast, the TV is blaring and this chaos does not end until another client walks in the door. I then stop my noise making. Her video ends and she finally puts it away. We are left with the calm of a Disney video.

I really shouldn't be allowed to go out, I don't cope well.
