I grew up in Alabama. I saw this all the time. My liberal family members that live in Montana, loved to talk down to us when they'd visit and ask us why we are so racist in the South. I'd tell them, it's easy to be on your high horse when it's outta sight outta mind. It makes me so angry because they have no idea what they are talking about.
