Hardware is whats holding us back, not the cable itself. I started having internet issues 3 days ago. I called the cable company, asked the lady if she heard anything about the new FCC law passed. She said "I aint heard bout dat yet". She sent a tech out. I asked the tech if he had heard of the law, he said yes they called a meeting to discuss the details 3 days ago (2 days before i started having issues). He tested the dB values on my lines, replaced a splitter because the dB values were too high, boom problem solved. Later the same day started having problems again. Called the cable co and got a different lady, I asked her if she heard of the new law, she said yes. None of them knew exactly what it was. But i think its safe to say many people are having internet problems right now. Just because you have fiber doesnt mean its going to be fast. in a work enviroment the network can get bogged down, depending on how many users are accessing the server, or even poor optimization. And thats before it even leaves the building to connect to the world. |

AT&T DSL at home....Fiber at work....both glitching I agree on the "before it leaves the building".....web designers need to be reeled in....there's only so much "Enhanced Content" a man can handle |
