So if the earth stopped spinning enough that the water at the equator started equalizing how big would the wave be?
If the earth rotated 90 degrees in a week how big would the wave be?
Anyone know where those calculations are? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68660106 Go away flat earth tard. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32089537 I've kind of wondered why the direction you're going (east or west) has absolutely no effect on flight time over long distances. I would think it would. I should probably research that. Last Edited by KonspiracyKitty on 03/28/2015 04:53 AM |

Doing that trip means going against the rotation of the earth, thus it can't take longer than a day. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 66079880 If the earth spins at just over 1,000mph and it came to an immediate stop the the water would keep moving at 1,000mph for a certain period of time (who knows, maybe an hour?) and gradually slow down. It'd definitely flood the whole earth I'd assume. |
