A call for alternative currency. A response to the Indiana boycott. | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 63601926 United States 03/30/2015 11:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Multiple liberal news outlets have publicized a boycott of Indiana due to a law which protects churches from being sued in civil court for not marrying gay couples. If the Feds get involved then I call for an alternative currency. If they want to keep their dollars away from Indiana then lets not use them. The dollar is backed by the full faith and credit of the federal reserve and the US government. I no longer have any faith in these institutions and giving them credit when the US debt is $18,167,962,250,000 is ridiculous. (That's almost $57,000 for every man, woman and child) I call for a gold-based currency. If this was done through the state it would have to be trade in actual gold or silver. (US constitution article 1, section 10) Coins could be made containing 1 gr of gold=$40 or silver of varying weights. If done through localities it could be done with paper bills which should also be exchangeable for gold. |
