Putin unveils first new Russian tank since 1993 with most powerful gun ever as well as huge arsenal of most sophisticated military hardware

The Russian Army has unveiled it's powerful new tank, set to go on display at the annual World War II memorial parade in Moscow this week.

The T-14 Armata has previously only been seen with its turret covered, but these images, published by the Russian Defense Ministry, show the new tank in full.

The tank is said to surpass all Western versions because of its remotely controlled cannon and the protection it offers its crew.

Liberman Predicts Elections by 2016

McConnell held off his decision on whether to file cloture and kill the Cotton and Rubio amendments for another day.

What I'm curious of is how much communication there is between Republicans and Israelis on this bill.

I see a lot of the press and even many of the Senators playing up the idea that amendments can't be allowed because they are all "poison pills" and if any passed the President would veto.

Yet surely the Senators are all aware that if a worthless bill passes unamended, it only increases the chance that Israel will launch war. In fact it could come at any time!

I think congress is finally learning that it doesn't make much difference WHAT they do or don't do. Either against opharaoh or for Y'isra'el.

Y'isra'el has learned that this admin is not her friend. And she has learned that this congress will not stand up for her in any meaningful way.

Bibi made Y'isra'els intentions clear in his warning to Bayit Yehudi about letting Herzog come to power. He said that by doing this, Herzog would be the willing puppet of 'others' and not fight for the rights of Y'isra'el.

Members of the Jewish Home party gathered on Monday night for an emergency faction meeting in the Knesset, following the announcement of the coalition agreement between Likud and Shas.

Officials in the party said that Jewish Home is outraged over the fact that Shas was given the Religious Affairs Ministry as well as control of the rabbinical courts.

As such, said the officials, Jewish Home chairman Naftali Bennett would demand that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu give the party another senior ministerial portfolio such as Defense, Foreign Affairs or Justice, to “compensate” for taking the Ministry of Religious Affairs from the Religious Zionists.

President Bashar Assad’s regime is beginning to crumble despite assistance from Iran and its allies. However, such a prospect did not prevent the recent liquidation of Rustom Ghazaleh, once the head of Syria’s military intelligence network in Lebanon.

The Syrian regime’s loss of Idlib and Busra al-Sham in recent weeks, followed by the defeat in the strategic town of Jisr al-Shughur last week, has exposed the gangrene at the heart of Assad rule. Something has been broken in the Alawite backbone of the state, with younger men in the community preferring to escape Syria rather than sacrifice themselves for a leader who cannot conceivably endure in the long term.

What are the Iranians thinking? They have made Assad’s political survival a strategic priority, but the incompetence and brutality of his regime – to which Iran has amply contributed – have ensured the task is unachievable. Even with Iranian and Russian help Assad is losing ground rapidly. Partly that’s because the life is gone from his armed forces, which have been successful only in their campaign to slaughter tens of thousands of civilians.

Maybe so, but I personally feel that whether McConnell is willing or not to allow the Cotton and Rubio amendments to be voted on at the 50 vote thresholds insisted by them on Thursday, is as important as the decision 2 months ago to allow Bibi to speak to Congress in spite of weeks of relentless criticism.

Not only did McConnell promise not to be the next Harry Reid and allow open amendment processes, but there is an opportunity here for the GOP to show again they have Israel's back. Rather than just being a rubber stamp for Hussein.

Then they can put the Rats to the test and see if they would really filibuster or veto the entire bill just because it contains a clause that Iran needs to recognize Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state.

Also, don't forget what Bibi said in February, that Congress is the "final brake" on a bad deal. If he truly believes that, then what happens in Congress right now matters greatly.
