What is Your Earliest Memory?
My earliest memory is being at a family wedding and hiding behind my mother when she introduced me and said "this is our shy one." I was probably about 4-years old. I really don't remember anything before this time.

Before I was 6 months, crawling on my grandparent's Persian rug and studying the colors, patterns and texture.

Re: What is Your Earliest Memory?
In the crib just before crashing out.

Sleeping on my mother's breast at the neighbors as they watched TV.

My older sister and friends playing dress up and using me like a dress up doll. Mom was ticked off and changed me back.

Looking back especially at the last I realize that kids aren't all there. Almost like a semi conscious or half awake observer.

Traveling cross country to see Grandma for the first time.

Re: What is Your Earliest Memory?
I was on the beach.

my dad said 'come here' and held out his arms. Then he ran down the beach ten more steps and did it again. I ran to him, i wanted him to pick me up. but every time I did, he would run a few more steps and do it again.

I was crying, I turned around to find my mom, but I just saw umbrellas and couldn't spot her, so I was afraid to go back and look for her and lose him.

He kept doing it to me the entire way down the beach to his brothers cabana (maybe a quarter mile). I cried the whole time and he never picked me up, he made me run after him while he held out his arms.

I think I was three. I was so small I was crying and wanted to be picked up and was afraid to go back because my mom appeared to be gone.

I grew up to hate my dad.

I would sit in a stroller and go under my mothers ironing board. I loved being under that freakin' ironing board for some reason. I was probably around the age of one.

Too ugly a memory to say - or I'm not in the frame of mind to say - and it didn't end well...didn't remember how it ended until I was 35, during a hypnosis session.

Bridge under the water, so to speak...rolleyes

Re: What is Your Earliest Memory?
As a toddler, annoyed with my much older sister, I deliberately broke all her Beatles records. She was so INCANDESCENT with rage that she picked me up and held me upside down out of a 2nd floor window by my ankles. I screamed, I was terrified she'd let go. When I told my mother later, she wouldn't believe me, that my sister had done that! :o)
