Am watching movie Ten Commandments on TV now: Hollywood has fallen so far it's pathetic.

Yep. I'm getting ready to watch it on BluRay. No annoying commercials but I am glad its still being shown on Broadcast TV. I wasn't a big fan of Ridley Scott's movie. Portraying God as a petulant child was wrong. Christian Bale was the wrong choice to play Moses. I guess they can't find a real man like Charlton Heston to play the part these days.

Just watched the part where Moses chooses not to choose any of the six daughters, good for him, the 'older' 7th sister is by far the most beautiful anyway.

CGI ruined the movie industry as being of art and talent, where are the real actors and actresses any more?? There's no heart or originality anymore, always redoing old scripts.

I think people need to get back to the drugs again, then there was comedy, music and great movies..lol

I watch o every year. its usually on the saturday before Easter. i have mixed feelings . the set designs and effects in thos movie are very well down and were definotely the best movie magic of its time. the acting is not the best. i think its a bit hammy at times . dont get me wrong i love this Epic movie. i was very srised to see that ots not a 5 star rating 4.5 stars seems wrong to me thats for sure.


hollywood has sunk to a new low where sex and disgusting blood and guts are the in thing. the graphicnudity violence and blood and gits is a turn off. i will say i dont mind the nudity ha ha. in the 1980's just about every film had boob scenes..nowdays with the internet and porn as a way pf life its done less and less in blockbuster styled movies.i am a musician but i think movies are the best of all art forms. they have art , music writing cinematography ect.

i will say at least a few movies are great every year. most are just. crap. this year i liked Fury(gorry but intense war movie). i am 47 year old man and with kids the best movies i have seen the last ten years are the pixar movies.


i am looking forward to the new star wars movies. the last three were ok at best and revenge pf the sith was pretty good. anyone reccomemd anything from the last few years and why?

Nah. Most of those movies before the late sixties always had to have a sexist female romantic part. Even in Tarzan jungles, journeys to the center of the Earth, cowboy movies, etc. Their clothes were always fresh from the dry cleaners and their hair was perfect and they were always looking to find a man.
