I would say because young women haven't developed mentally to maturity and thusly are easier for men to train or manipulate. If you get an older women, say in her mid 30s to early 40s, chances are she is less likely to be trained or easily swayed and controlled, this being a turn off for some men, not all but some, and more than likely most men..

The second reason, I would assume, is because younger women look better.. Most women do not age well.. Where as men, tend to age better for some reason.

These are just my opinions from simple observation. I am sure others have their own thoughts and ideas that differ from my own.

Most men are clueless about how to communicate with women, and older women demand more conversation , so men go after younger women because they can manipulate the easier and trick them.

Its goes both ways women like older men. Older guys have things more in order like a house, job, nice car, and can take care of the girl in ways younger guys fail. Now the reason guys like younger girls is more complex. Sometimes its just to show others they can get a pretty young girlfriend, but usually its because younger girls are just better than their older counterparts. They are like cars you drive a car till it breaks down on you than you trade it in for a new one. If your lucky you'll get a car that lasts forever and not a lemon but those are rare.
