i see your point. here's the thing though, it's not just fuku. Over 90% of reactors and storage facilities in the U.S. are leaking radiation, and the leaks of course will get worse, as all leaks do when they are unattended.
The leaks are going into rivers, lakes, soil and ground water. It lasts for millions of years. It's way over the head of most people what this means.
