The universe is basically an animal. It grazes on the ordinary. It creates infinite idiots just to eat them.

Yeah I read one of his books years ago just out of curiosity.

Read the whole thing. Can't remember the name, it was about Love.

The only book I threw in the trash.

He is bad energy.

Re: Has anyone here read any aleister Crowley books?
ok 6 pages of nothing lol

Mr Crowley was a showman to the tenth degree.
during his years of enlightenment he though of himself as a gatekeeper of knowledge. He had the keys to many secret societies of the time. And what he did turned them all on their heads. He freely gave the "general" public the prize secret doctrines. I give you The society known as The Golden Dawn. )once he acquired that key. All bets were off. He freely gave all their precious secrets to anyone who listened. Mr Crowley felt casting pearls to swine insured that some of those swine would "see".

...now, as for the man himself. He entertained all that was written of him. What he most got a kick out of was "hiding" knowledge behind the curtain known as organized religion. Hence the beloved term "wickedest man on earth". You see, during that time period people were in one of two camps, those seeking enlightenment and those in structured religion.
He loved to piss off both.

His works still stand today IF one can look pass the religious evil he used as a curtain.

after six pages no mention of Liber 777 still used in academic, relgious, everyday as a reference and correspondence of signs and symbols. All taken straight from the "secret" material of the golden dawn. LOL
like I said cast the pearls.
