I wonder how these retards think that they can post whatever crap they want about their employer on Twitter or Facebook and it won't come out at some point. It's routine for employers to check out job applicants' FB/Twitter accounts when vetting the candidates. I've told my kids that they should think posting on the internet (e-mail, websites, twitter, FB, whatever) as pinning something on a public bulleting board where it will stay practically forever. If you don't want some people to see it, don't pin/post it at all. Every single person with whom you share the post can forward it to anyone and you have no control over it - and the internet doesn't forget. For really confidential/embarrassing stuff you should use a phone or talk face-to-face. You don't want to have something you posted in your teen years to come back and haunt you when you're looking for a job 10 years from now. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 51728832 United States 04/10/2015 01:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Whew. I forget how flat out ignorant and moronic most people are today. Then I take a look at twitter or other social media and remember "the roar of the masses could be farts" and shake my head at the vapidness. Cella honey, your a total dumbass, and the world won't be doing you any favors for being a moron. Ignorance is not cute nor funny. Twitter will not pay your bills, like your (failing) parents probably are doing. |

I have been passed over a few times because I do not have facebook and they could not "vett" me. That's sad. Create a throwaway e-mail account using a public computer and set up an empty FB page. Some employers here demanded that their job applicants make their FB pages public to the employer, but it was deemed by the courts as an illegal request (like asking a young woman applicant in a job interview if she plans to have kids in near future) and not a legal cause for passing over the applicant. |

Screw that. I refuse to play those games. If an employer bases their opinion of a person off of a facebook page then screw them. I do not want to work for them anyways, as they are a shallow minded person that has a egotistical power problem. |

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.-Romans 10:9 "In this galaxy, there's a mathematical probability of three million Earth-type planets. And in all of the universe, three million million galaxies like this. And in all of that... and perhaps more, only one of each of us."-Dr.Mccoy |
