Has anyone heard of detoxifying your body through your feet?

Yeah my dad bought a foot pad thing from China that's supposed to do the same thing and stuck it to the bottom of his feet over night and the pad turned browny black.

I have never heard of this one,but rubbing a clove of garlic on your feet is an old remedy, and it will make your breath smell like garlic, even without having eaten any.

Her and a friend went to some little health spa in central Indiana. Only cost $25 for each of them. I figure if it made it to their small town it must be everywhere else by now but I had never heard of it until she told me about it.

I *swear* I saw these being sold on the Internet somewhere. They showed an example of a used one--kinda greenish black. Quite disgusting, and I thought, we have that swimming around in our systems? Yuck! A Google search would probably turn up the website.

Wonder what that something was they added to the water?

You can buy the footpads online or in a health food/vitamin store. You stick them on the soles of your feet and then put socks on over them. They do turn dark and will begin to have a slight mucky smell. You can literally feel the toxins sweating through the soles of your feet. I found my feet almost became a little sore, but admit to feeling different after a treatment.

I drink alot of beer so wasnt sure I was really accomplishing much by sweating it all out and then just putting it back in.....LOL

It was told by a grandmother of the 50s that during the Spanish flu epidemic of 1917, raw potato slices were bound to the feet of the sick for drawing out toxins caused by the disease. Of course, the slices were changed and fresh ones applied. It worked. That's an inexpensive fix.
