Walmart Stores from Texas to Florida Close Today for 6 Months without Notice

A store. One store.

Someone wrote this on Zerohedge as a comment about retail in general. I wonder if it applies to this situation. Is WalMart pretending to close stores for plumbing issues when what they are really facing is stores that are costing them money to keep open, but they don't want to close a bunch of stores because it could hurt stock prices?

I'm not saying this is the case, but it's worth adding to the mix as to possibilities of why this would be happening.

If he is correct in his assessment, it helps to explain why individual chain stores remain open long after they are no longer profitable.

The Livingston store supported 5 counties, or about 150,000 people. There was nothing wrong with their financial situation.

yes i too,noticed them,creeped me out.

this would screw me hard as brookshires has about a 20% markup over wallyworld for food.

fire suppression wouldnt take this long to replace.

Sounds like a design flaw in the plumbing. Walmart uses the same contractor for most of it's store constructions.

If it has been deemed "unsafe", it's cheaper to just shut down, than risk a lawsuit.

What is going on? I just heard that numerous Wal-Mart stores from Texas to Florida are closing immediately for 6 month period due to "plumbing problems." There was no pre-announcement and the store shelves were fully stocked. They even had to discount frozen goods 50% to get rid of the stock. They have given all employees a 2 month severance pay. Does this have anything to do with Jade Helm? I have heard that Wal-Mart has a contract with DHS to act as a command and logistics center for FEMA in case of a national emergency.

wow all store closings are in Jade Helm hot zones....

if this story is true those stores need to be watched for unusual activity

Another thing to keep in mind is the rumor that WalMart runs it's business model not through sales but as a conduit for major drug money laundering.

If you are in these areas watch these Walmart's closely.

Watch for large box containers being stocked in the parking lot. These could contain fences for both outside and inside use.

Look for large amount of walmart truckers in the first few days these are closed, they will be moving product out.

Note all contract companies arriving on location.

Take pictures. If possible, during the day take picture though front door. It will be well lit because walmarts have skylights to reduce energy usage.


This is smack dab in the middle of Jade Helm. The Walton's even have their own bunker, don't be surprised that they made a deal for all their tax breaks to use Walmart facilities as quick setup FEMA centers.

Went to walmart as usual I ended up in the sporting goods and in the camping isle they have these red bags with reflective shit on em saying be ready bag there 50 bucks have a 3 day supply for 3 people probably the cheapest shit they could find but still strikes me as odd all the preparedness stuff being sold everywhere now. Thoughts comments?

no store as big as wal-mart could afford to close their store down for a week yet alone 6 months!..

and all six stores have same exact plumbing issues that require 6 months to fix? BS....

and ALL wal-marts closing are located in Jade Helm areas?..

What's so dangerous about plumbing problems?

My theory is they hacked Wal-Mart's media release database program. Probably located at their super secret complex on the Missouri-Arkansas border. It would have a type of cascading effect especially if certain algorithmic programs would automatically start running such as an update on Google Maps. This is still a very nasty scenario especially if it had happened during Wall Street business hours. I am convinced it is some sort of hack attack.
