[link to www.9news.com] CENTENNIAL - A 12-person jury and 12 alternates have been seated in the death penalty trial of Aurora theater shooter James Holmes. The nearly all-white panel of five men and 19 women were finalized and sworn in late Tuesday afternoon. The only minority picked to serve on the jury is a Hispanic woman. NBC News reports that the pool includes two people with close ties to the 1999 Columbine shooting. Others include a dental assistant instructor, young mother of three, physicist and competitive shooter, and store manager at Bed Bath and Beyond. Read more at the linky stinky.

What are the odds, of even a Columbine survivor alone being selected for this jury? This trial is all for show, just like the Boston bombing trial, a railroaded "guilty" is coming, with very few real questions asked and little info revealed or discussed.

Seems like a very lopsided jury in many ways, with a number of conflicts of interest and prejudices. Also notice on the full list at the link the number of mentions of connections to the mentally ill, psychology and psychiatry.
