Is Walmart "too big to fail"?
Been following this week's Walmart developments with a keen eye. The damn thing is like an octopus, after all, has its tentacles into virtually every aspect of American life. It affects nearly all of us, like it or not. And I imagine that's how the people who run it prefer things.

It's not the Walton family, btw, who's calling the shots here. That dream died right along with Sam Walton. Walmart is being run by a bureaucracy (corporatocracy, in fact) that is nearly indistinguishable from the one running the fucking government. Their sole purpose is to continue to feed and fatten the idiot culture that is running rampant now. And they're getting mighty damn fat themselves in the process, but they don't care as long as that paycheck keeps coming.

I don't buy the plumbing story. I also don't buy the bullshit about Jade Helm, FEMA, DHS, the Illuminati, or mysterious tunnels. What I DO buy is that this corporatocracy has grown too big for too long. And now, at long last, it's beginning to collapse; these closings are proof of that. The house of cards is coming down.

But a hell of a lot of money is tied up in it, so much that its collapse really will send a shockwave through an already tottering economy. Possibly a fatal one.

So here's my question to you, friends: Is Walmart too big to fail? How far would TPTB go to protect the engine of this idiot culture that's killing our nation?

Oh, you can believe there are tunnels, they have been around for a long time. There are even tunnels the government did not drill. They have been around for who know how long.

Granted, but Walmart's quite a bit more than just retail.

Imagine America wakes up one day and Walmart is just gone. What would happen?
