WAL-MART RESPONDS TO RUMORS | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 67594723 United States 04/17/2015 06:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | War with China. There will be no cheap products coming to Walmart anymore. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21086071 I've been thinking about what retail stores are going to do when a) China wants to cash in their bonds and b) when they stop shipping Chinese made goods to the US. Mexico doesn't have the capacity. Our entire economy is going to tank within a week. But I don't think that's whats happening here. This is just 5 stores, which happen to be in interesting areas, with regard to fault lines, talks of secession and FEMA regions. it's called: A test!! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26631641 funny you mention this. i know someone in the livingston,tx area and they said although the store was pretty busy, they heard they had a pretty bad theft problem there. i don't think walmart would close a store for this though. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55947755 I'm not buying their explanation. You don't close your top performer over perceived wage increases...you'd have to be barely breaking even to close a store for this reason. You lose far more by closing that Midland store than fixing a payroll issue. Not buying it. Well technically Wal-Mart is still saying plumbing....its the workers speculating pay. Wal-Mart says they are going to be getting permits, but you don't close down a store prior to planning it out...not in 5 hours notice. Nope, no way. PLumbing? Explains away digging, cranes, etc. All excavation and building materials than underground spaces are constructed of. Walmarts are famous for moving in an area, demanding local com, unity make all sorts of concessions to get them to move in, then build the BIG BOX and run all local business under the bus; and finally pick up and leave. This is their modus operandi. On the other hand, they DO allow homeless people to park in their lots overnight and they use the bathrooms to clean up a bit and take care of functions. so now they will be entrances or exits from underground cities and tunnels? the weather down south is getting very violent and scary; maybe they are using the underground cities/areas as shelters?? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 18263388 United States 04/17/2015 06:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yesterday I drove over to the Brandon, FL store to see for myself (I was going to Tampa anyway, so it wasn't really very far out of the way, but it is quite a haul from where I live - about 3 hours). So I pulled into the parking lot, and there is a Rent-a-cop standing right outside the one front door. There's a sign on the other front door, giving people the hours the pharmacy is open, and for how many day (it listed the dates and hours, I don't remember exactly what it said). I was more focused on the imitation cop/guy. His car was parked right next to him. It had the name of the "security" company.....it was something I'd never heard of before. In fact, it was sort of a "hispanic" sounding name - something like: Securitad. Anyway, the car was a sub-compact, RED - and the logo of the company was a RED CIRCLE inside a white square. I didn't think too much of it until the next morning when my subconscience told me "It looks a lot like the Japanese flag, don't you think?" And it does! |

Digital mix guy User ID: 41549476 United States 04/17/2015 07:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Walmart says the stores are temporarily closed because of plumbing issues and will reopen in about six months. It didn’t take long for the conspiracies to spread. Some say the stores are being prepped to become FEMA detention centers as part of a ‘dry run’ for a martial law situation. Another conspiracy says radioactive food was delivered to those stores and now they need to be ‘decontaminated.’ A less bizarre theory is that asbestos was found in those buildings. KRMG contacted Walmart’s corporate office to get the reaction to such ideas. “I think that sometimes the truth is just a little boring.” Walmart spokesperson Erica Jones said. Jones told KRMG the issues have reached the point that they cannot be fixed while the stores are open. Use the Open Mic button on the KRMG app to tell us what you think is going on with the closed Walmart stores. [link to www.krmg.com] Have no fear, Spock is here!!! LLAP |

Also, several other cars drove into the parking lot when I was getting ready to leave the area. I thought at first that they were all "curiosity seekers," like me, but they weren't!! One of them parked. I didn't see what happened to the others, as I would have been very conspicuous had I just sat there, so I had to move on. |

There were 10-15 cars parked when I drove by, I saw one woman exit while driving past. Couldn't help but notice all the unsold plants in the garden center. Counted 12 dark red shipping containers at the back if the side (garden center) parking lot with a single Wal Mart tractor trailer. Felt odd to not see some type of activity, expected to see corporate looking people, product being moved out or construction prep of some type. Came in the main entrance and didn't check the side if the building closest to the strip mall. Some Shepherds remain hidden from their sheep. |

U don't close that many stores across a region without a full explanation and game plan on the "plumbing". What happened to all the produce and groceries, and inventory. Have trucks and employees been moving the inventory out or is all the meat and produce in there just rotting? Last Edited by Nefarious Libertine on 04/17/2015 07:40 PM We do not learn from history because our studies are brief and prejudiced. In a surprising manner, 250 years emerges as the average length of national greatness. This average has not varied for 3,000years. The stages of the rise and fall of great nations seem to be: The Age of Pioneers , The Age of Conquests ,The Age of Commerce ,The Age of Affluence ,The Age of Intellect ,The Age of Decadence. Decadence is marked by: Defensiveness, Pessimism, Materialism,Frivolity An influx of foreigners The Welfare State A weakening of religion. Decadence is due to: Too long a period of wealth and power, Selfishness Love of money ,The loss of a sense of duty. The life histories of great states are amazingly similar, and are due to internal factors. Their falls are diverse, because they are largely the result of external causes. - Sir John Glubb The Fate of Empires We are at the end of the Age of Decadence heading into COLLAPSE |
